After landing, the tour of the island started as soon as we got on board the buses. One of the things that I immediately noticed when I landed in Jeju-Do was how clean and clear the air is there. The "seeing" conditions were amazing and this was even evident while looking through a window at the airport. It struck me very hard when I saw it. There was no pollution, or that ever present haze that seems to degrade visual acuity in Incheon, Seoul, and Hong Kong. It was an eye opener for sure. Literally!
