I'm Home!

Oki. I'm home. The second connecting flight was late. So, I got home very late last night, or officially, very early this morning. I also just caught both of the last subway trains, too. That's cutting it close. I hate connecting flights. I think next time I'll try and fly direct if it's not too expensive. At least both my flights to and from Tokyo next month is direct and it only cost an extra $50 more. Yes, I'm going to Tokyo in the last week of Feb. WooHoo!

Back to the same routine of everyday life again. I'll update the previous blog posts originally missing pix with some once I have some free time to do it. Right now, it's cleaning and general housework related to going back to work monday.

Same old, same old.

Hong Kong International Airport

The express train to the airport. Photo taken from within the subway train. About half an hour travel time from Kowloon Station.

I'm at the airport waiting for the first leg of my journey back home to Korea. It's Hong Kong to Beijing and then Beijing to Incheon on another connecting flight. I think I'll fly direct next time. I hate this part of traveling.

There's free wifi here and the airport is very nice. Don't forget to bring your notebooks with you when you're here. I'll upload some pix another day as I left my mouse in my check-in luggage and the trackpad on my Hackintosh sucks.

Later!

Update: pix added.

Going Home Today

I spent my last night in Hong Kong doing a bit more shopping after dinner and then the packing afterwards. I had wanted to go out for a final walk afterwards, but the packing took much longer than I had anticipated. I have too much stuff for my smallish suitcase. I should have brought one of my big ones instead. But, I had not anticipated doing so much shopping either. So, I stayed in all night. Meh!

This will be my final blog post until I get back home to Korea. I most likely won't have any time when I wake up to do anything else other than to make it to the airport.

Thanks for following my latest adventures. See you all on the flip side.

Tsim Sha Sui Up Close

Like the title says; up close.

Some technical info for those who want it. All pix shot with the Canon S90 camera. Yes, you can shoot images like this with such a small point and shoot type camera without anything else other than it's build-in lens!

Tsim Sha Sui

Every new area I explore seems to be even better than the previous areas I've seen. Tsim Sha Sui is another upscale shopping area brimming with big international name brand shops. Along with the big main streets come the smaller side streets brimming with even more shops. There are even lots of camera stores in the area as well. These are mostly privately owned stores like on Stanley Street on Hong Kong island (see previous posts), unlike the Electronics Market (see previous posts) further north where most of those stores are chain stores.

I wish I had more time here to explore some more. But, this is my last day and this was my last stop. Tomorrow I fly back home to Korea. Another time, another time.
