Deals net, I was wrongly implicated in the case.!! If the wife/girlfriend wants to screw you they can say anything to the police!! She wanted me out of her life because she was having a affair!! and She brught the police when I showed her the evidence!! I guess You do not have a wife/girl like that in your life.
I pleaded guilty to save my career!!.

But, Mpadapa has some reality. That's what we are seeing in last 3 - 4 bulletins. A slow but steady movement.

Its beyond my comprehension, If they already have info, why would they come to your home? They just want to hear the same information again from hourse mouth? Just to check whether you are honest in providing information?

I owned property in india on lease and was tranfering $$ to the banks directly. Only personal trf was $6000 to my in-laws and I told him I borrowed this before coming to US owed this money

HI i got my traffic citation this August 15th 2009. That too driving 35 mph in a 30 mph zone, 5 miles over the speed limit and i paid a fine of 125$ plus a 1 point to DMV history. That is the only citation i have till now.

I think desi3933 is correct. It is the employees responsibility to maintain the status and all the employee can do is to sue the employer for the pay. Even I am not sure about 30 day rule, but employee should be getting payed on H1B. Also it may only be necessary to prove the legal status since the last entry.

Oh, they were about to trap me into joining them, I did an interview through them back in 2001 the client wanted to hire and when I told them I am not interested, they started forcing me, then they sent a employee to my apartment to bring me to their place, my roommate joined them and he also had a tough time, he later transferred his h1 to a middle client and after that both me and my roommate had to constantly workout strategies to get his w2s, paystubs etc.... they gave him a real tough time

So they did approve some cases, very few though.
Is this something to be concerned of, Absolutely. USCIS should release the monthly statistics of approvals in each category.
We need USCIS to publish
a. Future projections - projection of monthly cutoff dates every quarter
b. Historical data - A histogram of 485 approvals in the last quarter based on PD buckets (May-June 02 would be a bucket).
c. Case updates like NC clearances and so on, without having to go through infopass and waste everyone's time.
d. Timely updates on processing times for cases like I-140.
Given that the three databases are being consolidated into one, I don't think it should be difficult for USCIS to publish this data.
You can't just say "Hey, we made every category current in July 07, now the dates are going to go into 10,000 B.C?"

Few times it was difficult to explain to them what interfiling is. Then, I learnt to say "PD Amendment" (My lawyer used that term) with the two separate approved I140s. I called USCIS last Friday (Jul/18/2008), and they told me to wait 4-5 MONTHS. You can see how much off they are and IIO and IO work for the same USCIS. It is Ludicrous.

Ask your law firm why they are charging you so much. Below are the rates charged by my lawyer and should not be too different from what most of the others charge. If the lawyer doesn't answer, then show these numbers to your employer and lodge a strong protest with them.
