I'll try that tactic on the others, see if it reduces them any more. Like I said, I've never really had to use Fireworks much before, so I've still got no idea of the best way to go about things, and all the little tricks you can do. :-\

There are huge set of techniques by which searching in Google can be done more accurately, and here is a list of them that I frequently use.
1. Whenever we search for more than one keyword (i.e. computer programming, here we use 2 key word. a) computer b) programming) at a time Google will handle this keyword using a method called Boolean Default. Google's Boolean default is AND; that means if we enter query words without modifiers, Google will search for all of them. If we search for:
computer programming
Google will search for all the words. If we want to specify that either word is acceptable, we can put an OR between each item:
computer OR programming
If we want to exclude a query item from search results, use a -.(minus sign or dash:
computer -programming
Note that there is no space after the (-) sign.
2. To search for a phrase use "" surrounding the phrase. like:
"Some Interesting Google Search Technique"
3. Period (.) and Asterisk (*) can also be used as traditionally used.
4. To search anything from a specific site use site:site_name.

My wife has her name changed in the local county (Judge's order and a name change certificate)
She may start a job on EAD (has maiden name)..
Any clues on the process to make similar change in EAD, AP +passport (We would travel soon too), Pending 485 (so that her GC approval comes with the new name)

Hello,
I am currently working as full time and planning to move to consulting. I have the below questions
(i) I know its a bit risky to move to consulting right now compared to Fulltime, but still i See the H1 petetions for most of consutling companies are getting approved.
Do you think is it OK to move to consulting from Full time?
(ii)As client letter is mandatory these dayz, whats the best approach to apply for transfer? Like e finding the project and proceed for premium processing

For a change, your employer sounds like a big time Joker.. ask him/her to take a break and be a joker on the road..
First and far most.. If your employer is really sending a cancellation letter to USCIS for your H1, he is trying to rub his own Ya$$.. the ultimate loser is not YOU, but He/She and his company.. No employer with brain will send an official cancellation letter..
On the other hand, you are still on H4 status and directly getting on to EAD, so, you never used the so called H1, which means, if he messes up with you, you will be intact.

Alright, things are a bit clearer as far as what the numbers on my lens relate to. I was working well on my own in understanding the aperture's operation with the lower the f/number the more light let in and the opposite for the high. Where the light bulb went off over my head from what you explained is the minimum aperture settings in relation to the zoom. That would explain when I have my current lens opened up to 70mm why couldn't stop down to 3.5, I knew there had to be an answer. Thanks Steve, nobody clued me in on that piece of info. I think my next function I'm going to try and master is working with the camera's exposure lock, probably why the sky looks blown out in some of my pics. I'm still up in the air about 28-200mm, maybe I'll sell a kidney and get one that stops 2.8.

First off, when I say the lens is variable aperture from 3.5 to 5.6, that means at the low end f the zomm the aperture will be 3.5. At the long end (200mm) the aperture will be 5.6. When less light gets in two things happen, your shutter has to be open longer. and you get more DOF. This will effect your intended shooting situations. Concert photography requires large apertures (smaller f#s). So shooting with that lens in a concert setting will be difficult on the short end, and almost impossible the majority of the time on the long end. 5.6 will require a very slow shutter speed in that circumstance. Same for indoor sports. For landscapes and daylight work, you should not have a problem.....hope this helps a little.

Like it or not, AR11 is mandatory and it could even lead to deportation for violating the AR11 requirements. A fear of a RFE should not be the factor to stop filing AR11. File it and be safe.
485 RFEs are not very complicated from what I have seen unless you have something wrong with your filing, you have nothing to be afraid of.

i got an rfe too. I think its sent to both the attorney and the applicant. They said they mailed the RFE yesterday, so hopefully by early next week I should have it. I am guessing its employment verification due to me filing change-of-address. i know for sure that my ex-employer did not revoke 140.

On 05/2005 applied I-485, got rejected and again applied now and forgot to mention in "Have you ever applied before..." caluse.
Got reply from lawyer saying that it is not big deal but we can send a letter to CIS.
Is it going to be the reason for rejecting again?

Went in on Friday to get the name change done. I will get it back on 9th July about 11 working days thought web site claimed 6-8 working days.
For 16, take a copy of what ever visa you are on.. H4/H1 etc.
Column 31 should be left blank as its a name change.
PS use new signature below photograph for new passport. Also new name should be filled in the form.

If you don't have a job on H1-B then you are not in legal status within this country. This may come back to haunt you during future 485 processing and approval. That's where an EAD is good in that it allows you to remain in legal status even when you don't have a job for a certain period of time.
ok got it. so its better to jump on EAD whenver you feel the fear of being jobless for a long time. that way no problem if jobless for certain time.
only con is if something wrong happens to 485, we are screwed!!

What if you have used AC-21 before getting GC ......
Would that allow you quit the employer sooner than 6 months after GC as this is not the employer who sponsored the GC in first place.
