If the hardware isn't that much different from the iPad 2 then why would they give it to devs early?
Same question I had. Just run the game at 960x540 on the iPad 2 to simulate running the game. Even if it's clocked differently, they can approximate that too. Only difference would be if they stuffed more RAM in the iPhone 5/4s, which I doubt.

And I did not hear any auto-tuning... What gives?
Were kinda doing it ghetto lol, we only used garage band but when we re-record ill try to use auto tune. tbh, i had no idea what it was before your comment so thank you :D

I've had .mac for about three years now and I love it.
However, I've always thought that Apple should make it much cheaper ($25) so that the majority of users would snap it up. Storage is cheap nowadays and I seriously doubt that many users are using more than 50% of their allocation.
Also, I'd like .mac to be tied into iLife 07 and Leopard more, but made affordable for everyone.

I've never had any issues with the latest updates, so I don't really care with 10.4.8...but I wish Safari could be less memory-hungry, or use less virtual memory...that's all.Me too. And I wish Safari had a "Sure you want to quit?" dialog box for those times when we accidentally do a Command + Q in the dark when we thought we were doing a switch application Command + Tab.
Glad to hear it's in Leopard. But having to wait for an entirely new system version to get a little helpful dialog box in one little application seems like an expensive unnecessary delay.

I looked at some of the contact pages on the newspaper websites. Couldn't see what department would apply to what I'm looking to do. I'll give the news desk a try. Thought that was just for submitting a story to them but I suppose asking them about covering an event might fall under that category too.

It's interesting, really. Apple has really high standards, that much is clear. Don't get me wrong, it's part of what makes them a great company. If there's one thing that can be said about this story, however, it's that that other people's standards are clearly not as high.
It begs the question: How many projects have Apple put the kibosh on, that people would've bought... at a premium, no less??

Nobody is saying you can't discriminate against someone who's shoved a gun in your face and asked for all the money in your cash register.
However, what's your rationale for discriminating against someone who has sat down at a table and wants to order a hamburger and fries?
Males are far more likely to commit violent crimes than females. If you were worried about statistics, then it would make sense to open an "ladies only" establishment.

Cool, they have ALWAYS had issues with saving toolbar, menu and keyboard shortcut settings between launches. The day I installed Office 2011 I had both Word and Excel 'unexpectedly' quit on me while trying to adjust such things to my liking. Since then they've sometimes just blatantly and with intent to wound reverted to default settings, grrr.
The ribbon in '11 does still need some work - they did a great job with it in '10 on Windows, where it is fully customisable, even if it ALSO has major issues with saving the changes - you have to make all the changes in one sweep or it keeps reverting. The customisability in '11 is lacking and for whatever reason they made the ribbons very different from their Windows equivalents - probably just to make it harder for switchers lol.
Looking forward to seeing what else if anything is new. Doesn't look like they included any fixes for the much-in-need Messenger.... Nevermind.

I've heard that the older Arcade and Pro models are no long in production.
The older models are no longer being made, that is correct.
What is going to happen once they're no longer in stock?
My guess, as I stated earlier...

I'm in the same boat. It beeps, I see the update bar but the DVD drive pops open and then shuts -- then normal boot. Ugh!
that is what mine did and was fine, it popped up a windows saying the update was complete, check your firmware version in System Profiler

Why are there so many Negative votes? An update to Aperture is a very good thing for photographers. If all these voters are people who were hoping for a MacBook Pro update, that doesn't quality you voting an Aperture update thread as negative. Big deal... the notebooks didn't get updated. Move along.
I really wish Apple offered a trial of Aperture on their Web site. I would love to try it out sometime.

Exactly! That's why the iMacs didn't get the Intel procssors until 7 months after the Mac Pros, right?
Well the reason for that is because Apple was waiting for the Xeon "Woodcrest" processors to put into the Mac Pro. A Core Duo in a Mac Pro...I don't think so.

I'm weird. They are going to cut a 6-inch hole in my back and remove one of my lamina and a disc, and I'm worried about anesthesia.
