being a network admin for a medium business that is 100% Macs, i am extremely concerned by Lion and its lack of server ability. looking at Lion over the last few days has depressed me somewhat. there are ZERO changes to WGM and Server Admin - and the new Server thing is just a joke to admins in a professional environment.
so overall, i am rather dissapointed :(
There's no indication on Apple's Lion preview page that they're packaging a gutted server package with additional add-ons to be sold separately.
currently its all in the one bundle, but i believe they will charge extra for server essentials once they release it.
It's all speculation at this point, but a description like that makes it sound like ALL of Lion Server is included in each copy of Lion.

A MacBook trackpad does NOT need a click to register.
You can change the settings so that you do not need to click at all, it simply takes your touch as a click. I use it in this way all the time, I NEVER click the touchpad.

Do you not have Road Tax on your cars?
To use a car in the UK, (unless it's a classic car made before 1972 I think), you have to keep it taxed. It's �105/6 months for my car, which has a 2litre engine.
Depends on the state. I pay $25 a year to renew my license plates, and then around $400 a year in personal property tax (that number depends on the value of the car, my car is 2 years old so it's pretty high). Some states have a higher license plate fee and no personal property tax.

The point is that even cheap dumb-phones don't require a case to get better reception.
The iPhone may be the best smartphone overall, but it has a flaw when it comes to the most basic feature on a phone.
You are overstating it, just as the media had. Nobody who pays that much for a phone and values their money is going to walk around with a glass phone that is easy to break without a case. I probably should not have brought it up, but the point is that people will use cases for other reasons besides the reception. The case is required, not because of the reception, but because the phone is expensive. How someone will argue with that I don't know... I'm sure someone will figure out a way. ;) Also, the reception issue is only an issue in low-signal areas. But maybe you forgot that? idk...

I think there are a lot of people over thinking this.
Its just a bit of fun.
Some kid just probably thought it would be a laugh to make a facebook group and see what happens.... and its blown up.
And I think its great, and shows the power of Joe Public and the internet.... but thats just my point of view.
Plus the group has rasied loads of money for charity which is good.
People who look at this as anything more than a bit of fun are morons.

If Adobe decides to release CS3 as Intel-Mac only, Apple will experience a huge increase in sales of Mac Pros. Such a move by Adobe would have a positive benefit for Apple. Users will upgrade willingly kicking and screaming because Adobe products are bread and butter apps.

I am not saying no one should produce children. I am just saying its not the job of the government to make sure people are only cranking out units when they are "ready". Its called personal responsibility. If you get knocked up, deal with it. It's usually your own fault. Maybe your parents should have taught you to keep your pants on. It's not up the the government to teach you these things.

If true, this is bad...Apple needs to get people who make movies on board, with pressure from Walmart and Target, movies companys might not come over as quickly, and they really are selling well from what Disney says!

It works fine with glencox. Very strange, but in a couple of days Issmit should be passing me, so if it is something the widget it should happen again (at least with my widget). I'll let you know.
