When did you receive the rfe letter in mail? Was there any LUD (last update date) on your case or any status change on the uscis website online?
Also can you please post your details like RD, ND also where was it sent and where was it transfered,.
Mine was NSC-> VSC-> TSC with RD july27th ND sep 27.

I got an RFE on I-485 for the incomplete medicals. The RFE says that a 'specific' test results are missing and they need that test results to complete my application. I went to the same doctor and the lady there said, I did take that 'specific' test last year when I had medicals, but doctor forgot to mention that results in I-693. She said she is going to fill out a new I-693 form with all the results including the missing one (from old results) and will give me that sealed cover. Will this be enough? or do I need to take that 'specific' tests now and send the results?
I am planning to send the results tomorrow overnite.
Also, my Immigration Office number is 009 with TSC. Anybody got any approvals from this IO?

If one has a copy of 140 but it has been revoked (no fraud) , when applied for porting how does USCIS finds out the cause of revoking 140? Does USCIS has some kind of data regarding that?
Like what if the labour has been substituted? How one will get this information?

Employement history is on G-325. It is only for last 5 years. If it was before 5 years there is good chance that you need not answer that question. I-485 does not require your Tax returns. You can do that with your W2 forms.

If the law is changed. All dates will be current. if it's not changed your date from 2005 means squat. There are abt 200K ppl in the line ahead of you.. no way you are getting anything this life.. maybe you can leave your PD in inheritance to your kid born in India :)

I filed my conversion case two months ago, they have not withdrawn my BEC case yet since BEC had not sent 45 days letter so far and BEC could not locate my old case to verify with new case, so my conversion case dormant at PERM as well as old case @ BEC. no use of PERM conversion if you have not received 45 days letter, it may be helpful for who have received 45days letter and waiting for BEC decision.

Thanks for your responses. The hospital staff told us it would take 60-90 days to get the SSN. I am stuck until that arrives because only then can I apply for the passport. Any way to get around it?
Call SS office they may give SS on phone or just go and ask them they will give you the number based on which you can apply for passport.
If you apply PIO in person and pick it up in person It will take around week.

Let us try to schedule a meet with the prospective presidential Candidates (McCain, Clinton and Obama) instead to let them know our issues.
By the time we actually get a meeting with the current president, his term may have expired. The presidential candidates, on the other hand will have some time now (not a whole lot but a little). If we squeeze some time there, we may be able to atleast get our issues out there.

I-140 approved and about to file 485.
Employer says he can file only 485 and no EAD for me. But he can file EAD/AP for my wife.
Can I file EAD/AP for me separately on my own? What are the consequences from my employer if I quit after six months of applying 485 (by that time I would've got my EAD/AP)? Can he reject my 140 and/or 485?
You can apply for EAD at anytime. All you will need is a copy of your I-485 AOS receipt (which I think USCIS will send to you, but I am not sure).
After 6 months (180 days to be exact), your employer cannot revoke I-140 (and hence I-485) if you invoke AC21.
