I got an RFE (first time) for my 485 and my lawyer responded (sent it through post) on August, 9th, 2010. I am wondering, how long USCIS takes to update the status online? I just want to make sure USCIS received my RFE, that�s all I care.

Mr. karachi wala i have same stiuation , i am currently in us and AP in hand and want to marry there in home country. bring my wife on H-4 and come back to us on AP .

I have a 4 year college degree from the US and 5 years of experience. I would like to know when they say 5 years of progressive experience does also that include an increase in salary over the five years? My previous employer paid me 60kper anum but my new employer is paying me 55k per anum. There is drop in salary by 5 thousand. Will this affect my application. Please advise. Thanks much!

We had applied for an extension of my in-laws visa, and it got rejected. Is there any way we can appeal this decision?
Also, they are here a day past their I-94 expiration. Will their multiple entry visas be cancelled? They will leave within 30 days time past their I-94 expiration.

My wife lost her EAD while traveling (in India) outside of this country, she has Advance Parole document with her.
Question is: Can she able to enter US without EAD?
My Wife status:
Current Status : AOS (H4 - expired) - Filed I-485
Advance Parole: Valid till 11/11/2010
EAD: Valid till 10/11/2010 (Lost):mad:

We are going to demand TRANSPARENCY in addition to efficiency for BECs. Its a part of Immigration voice's agenda.
Is there ANY mechanism right now for applicants or their attorneys to find out what's going on with their PERM application? Is there a phone number you can call or an email address you can write to? It seems that at a minimum the processing centers should issue a monthly report on the progress and issues encountered.
