AP- Approved Oct 2007
FP - Done in Oct 2007
Can someone tell me how to check whether Finger Printing is cleared and case has been sent/approved from FBI Name Check
FP status check phone is 304-625-5590. Name check is a different story. Write a letter to your congressman/senator or even Mr. President to inquiry about the name check status.

Maybe USCIS thinks that our cases mayn't become approvable within the next 15 months. This is just my theory, because I see lot of people have got FP but with early PD's

I think u r in a trap here. I recently talked to a HR of a desi company and he clearly told me his boss does not want to file for 485 for all eligible applicants and is working on strategies to fool his employees into prolonging things till dates retrogress.
U can choose ur lawyer, u don't have to let employer know u applying for 485 at all. Do not link ur lawyer and employer for any reason. Keep them both away. U already have 140 approved and u have nothing to lose.

Sats123, Chanduv23 is correct, also reading that with the paystubs you can avoid the employer letter saying that you work in such position and for such salary, finding out what position they used to file your labor (did you find it in the database on my previous post) and considering that you are about to get ripped off, it would be advisable that you go through that lawyer that someone was saying charges 1000 to file your papers and 500 for your spouse;
Did you get the medicals? I know it takes time now to get an appointment, and if you want to file the I-485 on your own, please ask if you have questions, I think you can get out of this trap and before the immigration rates hike on July 30th.

It is not going anywhere. The message is clear. People of color are not welcome, specially INDIANS, and now looks like Chinese too.
Do you know how many people from S. Korea, Japan and from Africa apply for GC? You are making an extremely pre-mature and rash statement which might alienate what's probably the only developed country in the world which is still not hostile to people of color.
If EB3 is moving faster than EB2, then you can figure out why I'm sure. Don't blame the porters, blame the system.

Did anyone got LUD on their I-140? I have an LUD on my I-140 on 04/20/2008. Most of the people got their LUD on 07/13/2008.

You could appeal the decision, but considering the complications of your course work and degree, it would be an uphill fight. In your appeal, I dont believe that the case would have much merit if it fought purely on the basis of your attorney saying that "he marked the incorrect box".

I'm also suffering like you for years but doing a RE-FILE just for managing bad odds is not reasonable. If they reject your application - You should be able to resend it from FEDEX/USPS signature and receipt Notice even after Aug 17th.
I'm not a lawyer and i've nothing against Rajaiv Khanna but on a general i'm advising you that " Any lawyer wants their clients case get complicated and convoluted". By doing this you/we are just complicating our case and offering "Money making" potential to already Rich , Wealthy ,Cut throat Lawyers.

Will I-485 package get rejected if no employment letter attached?
While rushing to send our packages to USCIS on July2nd, we could not get our future employment letter signed and did not include in the package. But now I have the employment letter.
Experts, do you think I need re-file or wait out?

No FP notices. Spoke with the lawyer today morning and he mentioned that as the FPs are elgible for 15 months, they issue the FP when they "think" that they shall be able to finish the case in that 15 month time period.
My EADs say FP not available, but I believe that it is not a big concern.
Now that my EB3 PD is Sept 2001, I am hoping to get the FPs sooner rather than later.
As for I-485 Reciept Notice's receipt date, will check with lawyer again and update you folks on that.

E-filed on May 5th, FP on June 6th, no updates since. Concerned as I'm working on EAD and current one expires August 29th.
Paper filed AP in late June, approved already (as per e-mail) even though I only needed it in mid October!!
