I just called a store in my area. They have 32 and 64GB but they said they can overnight ship me one with 16GB capacity!
Then I realized I am still not sure whether I really need one!!!
Try it out. It is WORTH giving a chance.

Explain how it's adding unpredictability if we're being told what song to buy, to get to No.1? By my definition that's the complete opposite of unpredictable.
If it's "just some fun" then that's a different story...but it's not. It's about people getting all whinny because they think Simon Cowell is taking over the music industry, and leading us like sheep to make his song's No.1. If you don't like the damn XFactor songs then quite rightly don't buy them! Buy what you want to become No.1. But when when people deliberately try and manipulate the results, thinking it will "teach that man a lesson", it becomes less about the music and more about some stupid battle with Simon Cowell!
The song I want to see at No.1 is the song that I like most at that particular time, not the song that I think will give the best metaphorical finger to Mr. Cowell.
I would like to know if all these people swarming to buy the RAtM track actually care about Christmas number 1's. I wonder if anyone does?

The NDS (at least in the UK) launched with Mario 64 DS and Wario Ware Touched, two great games rated 85 and 81 by metacritic.com respectively.

This is a load. Downloads will barely make a dent in DVD sales, especially when you can take the DVD home and rip it yourself. Most people don't have massive broadband pipes and they want a physical copy they can pop into the DVD player at home. Joe Noob may not know how to rip the disc, but I doubt he'll buy a movie online if he can't watch it on his DVD player. He might buy a movie to watch on his iPod that he already has in his DVD collection, though. Target and Hole-in-the-Wal-Mart are whining about nothing. Downloads may one day start chipping away at hardcopy sales, but it's going to be years before it starts to make a difference.

There isn't a single added feature listed there to make it worth the extra ~$100 to get a new iPhone instead of the identical iPhone 4 at discount.

Pour all their R&D into technologies that don't even exist yet, while continuing to throw up excuses for why they can't include technologies that do. Like Blu-Ray.

Ill agree with you on Lack of Education and Religious Extremism. Resentment, somewhat. I tend to think that if we just leave them the heck alone to do whatever they want and be as Shariah as they please we will see less terror attempts.
Terrorism typically arises from some sort of injustice. I think there is some truth to the clich "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." But "leaving them alone" is somewhat problematic as long as we support multinational enterprise that seeks to extract maximum profit in every corner of the world. Even if the business s not based in America, America is the most prominent target.
I know it is not apples-to-apples, but I was wondering if anyone has seen the National Geographic on North Korea? One part that struck my nerve was at the end when the doctors were removing the bandages from the patients eyes, one of the North Koreans first thing to do was go praise a poster of Ill and promise to "Destroy the american scum with my new eyes" or something like that, despite the fact that much of the equipment used to complete the surgeries was American made and American funded IIRC.
Most likely, the government expects this sort of show of loyalty, when they are paying for your treatment. If you do not do this, you would probably labeled as seditiously ungrateful and they would find some way to make your life miserable.

Race is irrelevant to sane people. It's achievement that counts.
On that note, I believe racism should be legal and protected under law by those who wish to rely on ancient notions of race.
Not everyone is equal, but race is not the factor of inequality, and in that sense a successful "black person" is worth a whole lot more than a useless good for nothing "white person"

I just hope Apple have fixed a lot of ridiculous little problems with Cocoa and the Task Switcher, etc. that they introduced with 10.4.7. I'm tired of quitting one application in Task Switcher and seeing another application's name in the menu bar while it's quitting.
Yep, this happens with me too...nothing grave but annoying..

Will .mac recognize a boot from a different drive (or a different partition on the same drive) as a separate "computer" and sync Mail and iCal, etc. between it and other computers?

I can see why they'd do it with a "new" program, but SE16 was my audio editing prog of choice even having to open OS9 to use it. Finally, soundstudio came around and went multi track, and although I like it, the bit view in SE16 was priceless for what I do, and that thing saved and opened files in a snap.
Even though it's new, I still had hoped that UBs would be the norm for new stuff for longer, especially from someone like Adobe. I got my G5 in mid 04 and had hoped to have it for 8 years. Looks like it'll be more like the 4 years I had ye olde G3 for. Maybe I can squeeze more out of it, but we'll see.
Whatever,
J

Can you ask if they have instructions from AT&T for moving grandfathered unlimited plans to the iPad2?:)
I asked for you was told that it's linked to your login ID not the device. So you would just go to configuration / cellular Data and login
Thanks

A child is a consequence, as a consequence of saving someone's life I was rewarded rather generously by the person ($1,000 to a 6th grader is a lot).
A consequence is a result or effect of an action or condition
And you had the choice to keep, throw away, or give away that "consequence".
The consequence of an action that leads to an unplanned pregnancy is pregnancy, which a woman can carry to term to raise or adopt out, or abort. Each of THESE actions carry it's own set of consequences.
The goal of sex education (provided by PP as well as others) is to minimize the need for unplanned pregnancy. Unfortunately, using the same "morality", many groups that oppose abortion oppose sex education, the most effective tool in minimizing the need for abortion. In focusing on abortion, let's not, um, throw out the baby with the bath water.

Woohoo! I have always wanted to be able to watch C-SPAN from somewhere besides my living room. Nothing will help you to fall asleep on the train better than some C-SPAN. C-SPAN 2! and 3! even better!:D
I find listening to HSN is quite entertaining actually... It's funny to watch their middle age post-C-section Real Housewives of Scranton, PA (HSN home, right?) try to fumble through presenting the latest $499 laptop from Dell. Comical... sure is funnier than anything that's come from Fox int he last 5 years, hehe.

The person who asked you how much ram you meant was referring to your video card ram not your system ram. I think that that GPU only has 128MBs of VRAM but am not 100% sure off the top of my head. but it is an older GPU you will probably have no problems running it on low but don't expect to run it on anything higher if your lucky you might be able to run at med settings depending on what res you run at. VRam is not as important as most people think it is. The processing power of the GPU itself is much more important.
Ya its the 128MB model. I mentioned that in my first post. And I totally agree with you on the processing power being most important. I know that X1600 chipset was already a couple years old in 2007 when my MBP was new, so by now I figure its pretty close to being on the edge.
Also, for those of you who got your beta key from Blizzard, how did they send it to you?

People are wrong who think Alacarte would boil down to a handful of channels. The opposite would happen as people would not purchase duplicate channels with similar content. They would choose the one they like best and then choose something more narrowly focused in their interest range.
People are confusing ratings on tv with what people would actually pay for to have brought into their home every month. They are not the same thing.
