if you are current, when can you expect to get an approval notice ?
My online I485 status continues to be in "Initial Review" stage and the last date of change on my file was back in 2008.
Is there anything we can do to shake this up or just wait.

To all the above liberal minded people who said what's wrong with this. Lord Ganesha is symbol of intelligence and soma (the divine liquor) is not associated with Him.
Now what if your faces or your parents pictures are put on toilet seats and covers. Do you say the same thing?? Now there is no difference between you guys and M** F** Hussain who choses our God to draw objectionable pictures. You all are hyprocrites.

Move on guys. Worry about retrogression and priority dates. Even those stupid threads on LUDs are more productive than this one.

So, those who done their FP in July 2007 or afterwards will have their FP refreshed. So they don't need to go for FP once the previous FP expires. All those who did FP prior to July 2007 will have to go to ASC for FP .

Sorry to hear that..May be due to processing times are hanging at April,2007 i guess you may have to wait until your 485 RD falls into that or may be not...because some people are getting approvals irrespective of the processing dates not match with their 485 RD (received date)
We should have soon processing times updated according to the April VB...keep hope..

I used AC21 twice. Both times I informed USCIS, EVL contained exact job description but different title. Did not have any AC21 related RFE and today got 'CP ordered email'. :) good luck to all!

Did you send the EVL to USCIS yourself or did your lawyer take care of it? Is there are specific process, document format to follow? Congrats one and all who got approved seems to be a lot of progress in the Eb-2 arena. I heard of 15 approvals of EB-2 PD03 (Jan-Apr) in my company itsef

Of course these are related to immigration, let me tell you how:
Picture of lord Ganesha will make more beer sell. More beer will have two consequences one employment level will increase plus people will be more energized drinking these beers. So in both cases it will increase the well being of Indians.
So this means, Manamohan Singh and other MPs will drink these beers a whole lot and sign the Nuclear deal. Once the nuclear deal is signed more elctricity will be generated and hence more beer.
That will increase the the well being of Indians further.
Once a certain level of standard of living is reached no one would want to come to the USA
If no one wants to come to the USA , naturally the green card line will become short.
If the green card line is shortned then...
EB2/EB3 for India will become current...

Opened my email this morning to see the card production ordered email (time stamp in my inbox reads 2:15 am PST 4/23/08); the approval date was 4/23/08.
Been in meetings all day so not even a chance to call anyone about it.

Hi,
I was one of the marshalls, reached Los Angeles like an hour ago. The rally was a huge success, but not upto the expectations from the locals. There is no doubt there is more participation from CA members in both days 17, & 18th and I am not sure what stopped locals attending the rally when they have excellent commuting options to the monument and the capitol area unlike the west coast where we're forced to drive.
I am sure that the local chapter leaders such as Arun, Sukhvinder, Sivakanth, & others put a lot of time, effort, & money into getting the permits from different authorities, display matertials prepared and delivered on time, and other logistics.
At the same time, having 6 weeks time for the rally, I think the local chapters in DC, VA, MD, & DE should have taken a bigger initiative in conducting chapter meetings to improve the participation, and volunteer efforts in receiving people from the airports and/or providing accommodations.
I spoke to one person from CA who came with all the checks written with the names & amounts in advance, and handing them over to the members who were sponsered for the rally.
Thanks to all who made the rally a big success.
I do support in changing the organization name to "Legal Immigration Voice" immediately.
I will be writing more in the morning,
