This area is pretty much similar to the area where my hotel is located. Lots of shopping and motor scooters everywhere. I've never seen a city with so many of them. And, they have crazy drivers with no regard for pedestrians either. But, that's the way it is everywhere else in the world, too. Well, except for one part of the world. And, we all know where that is. Don't we? In any case, I'm used to that now from living in Korea for so long.
Notice how the storefronts are all inset into the main buildings on the main streets. This is what I was writing about in an earlier post regarding how the rain is easily avoided along an entire street while walking. All except when crossing the street when there is no cover, that is. Win some, lose some.
