Pomegranates for all

Instead of going to work/school today, we went for a day trip to Jerusalem, Israel. We went to the Old City and the Western Wall, but this photo was taken at the Muslim Quarter, where there's a market for all kinds of things (such as fruit, herbs, clothes, religious stuff etc...). These vivid-red pomegranates really caught my eyes, especially because of the background of the pale walls. Taken with an iphone by Better Nothing than Almost.

Western Wall Tunnels

"This is part of an underground tunnel exposing the Western Wall in its full length. The carved stones in the bottom are original from the Temple... I walked there with a large tripod, it was awkward and uncomfortable but paid off! I wanted to capture the atmosphere of that special and interesting place with no additional artificial light".
