"Whether it be couples, large groups of friends or families, parisians have become picnic adepts on the banks of the river Seine, making the most of the long summer days. The huge popularity of those improvised picnics also show how much people are in need to get together, share and have fun, in a society where more and more restrictions are imposed and where spontaneous and simple communication lacks.
