Jeonju - Hanok Village

The view outside our window in the morning. It snowed all night. And, the next few photos are of the guest house grounds.

The main entrance to the guest house grounds.

The area is a mix of modern and traditional structures. This area is popular with tourists and is maintained with that purpose in mind. But, it's still very nice, though.

Can you spot the kitty in the pic?

The Hanok Village area is situated on two hills side by side.

Last weekend I went to a small town a three hours bus ride south of Incheon called Jeonju. I went with some friends and by the time we all met up in Jeonju, there were five of us altogether. We all came from different cities. Jeonju is a small town with a bit over half a million people. It seems to be quite nice and laid back. The main draw of the town seems to be the traditional Hanok Village. It was a wonderful little area of town. Quite the throwback to an earlier time. This is where we stayed and explored.

I loved this little town! I would live there if I could.
